If the pros come with the right money and it's a high enough figure for me, then of course I am going to take it because it's not every day that someone gets to go try for the big leagues.

Traditionally, all those (contestants) are pros with a proven ability to pick winners. Some of those guys, or their clients, are making money betting with us. I figure if I can make some money off them, then, hey, I'm a better person for it.

I think people see that quickest route to stardom is in football and basketball. In basketball, you can come from college and go straight to the pros. Football is the same way. In baseball, it takes longer. You have to go through the minor leagues. There aren't that many kids playing Little League baseball. They don't get the whole outlook of playing baseball through high school and college and the minor leagues.

My biggest problem in the big leagues is that I can't figure out how to spend forty-three dollars in meal money.

In most cases, it's a discrete amount of money [involved] - it's not the entire campaign war chest. You are usually talking about a small percentage of the total campaign fund, in which case it's not practical to return the money because you can't figure out whose money it was that was misused.
