I think the Xbox 360 is a big deal. It's the first console to come out in this new generation of games. This system has more power than most of the highest PCs that are out there now. In terms of power, it's a beast.

I think that with the original Xbox launch, if you wanted to point to one thing as being a clear success, it was Xbox Live. With Xbox 360, they're really building on that.

It appears that 2006 is following a similar pattern to 2000, when the last console transition began. Consumers have slowed purchases of current generation console software while waiting for the opportunity to purchase an incredible next-generation console, the Xbox 360, and its associated software.
