en I hadn't even heard of the world junior tournament until I came to Canada. I was 16 before I saw a game and I had no idea it was played over Christmas.

When I asked him about the difference between major junior and the world (junior) championship, he said the speed of the game is way higher. It is. It's the best league in the world but players like that adapt quickly.

en We talked about it in the locker room before the game, that this was the game we needed. We felt they hadn't been tested in this postseason, they hadn't played against a team like us that plays defense, believes in itself and tries to control the tempo of the game. Yesterday was a good game to show them that.

en We played way bad on the power play. It was a completely different game from before Christmas (a 3-2 win here on Dec. 23). The game before Christmas everybody was finishing checks. Tonight it was a big difference.
