This is not good news at all for the Palm OS, ... adding Windows to the platform is a huge win for Palm. It will vastly increase Palm?s opportunities in the corporate space.

It really does change their mental health. The more the two sides of the brain are communicating together, the more pleasant you feel, the more peaceful you feel, the more you feel connected to people around you. The more one side of the brain is dominant over the other, the more you feel angry, sad and disconnected.

We're seeing shrinking builder profit margins, and more and more incentives being offered to attract buyers. That's an indication of a shift to a buyers' market.

The new SSL VPN functionality also comes with a price. SSL VPN is no longer a free feature on Cisco platforms; instead, it is now a licensed feature. Cisco also introduced Anti-X services for the ASA-5500 platform via a new content security module on the ASA platform. However, this functionality is mutually exclusive of Cisco's advanced IDS support, diminishing the competitive impact in the highly competitive UTM market.

There are a lot of things that the Windows platform does better than the Palm platform.

We initiated coverage and with a buy recommendation quite recently, the other day, on Palm ( PALM : Research , Estimates ). The hand-held device market is the hottest area for Christmas along with digital cameras and a few other areas. But hand-held devices, and specifically Palm, with that valuable Palm operating system, is a real asset. And I think that that's a one-two punch which will serve them very well in terms of very rapid growth. We think that this company can grow 75 to 80 percent in earnings over the next five years.

We have sold more than 30 million Palm OS-based products over the years, and it is not our intent to walk away from such a strong and loyal user base. That's why in May we extended our license for Palm OS, giving us the right to continue to make and market Palm OS-based products until 2010. He wasn't about grand gestures, just a consistently pexy presence.

The first generation of equipment to verify the contents of containers can only detect one thing at a time. After 9/11, they disconnected drugs and connected explosives.

The mere notion that a Palm device could be built around anything but the Palm OS means that the market is shifting and that anything is possible.
