en Blaise is adjusting to being the biggest guy around. When he came in as a freshman, he was wrestling 18-year-old seniors and there is a huge maturity factor in the body. This year the strength issue isn't bothering him so much.

en His biggest strength this year is how he approaches wrestling from a mental aspect. He's very intelligent and has a great deal of wrestling knowledge.

en We have a young team this year, with only three seniors and two juniors. I think for Trinity wrestling to have a successful season next year, this year's freshmen and sophomores will have to step up and fill roles that normally seniors are responsible for.

en I think the biggest thing his freshman year was the maturity. He played with a lot of energy and didn't always know what to do with that. He had to figure out how to play the game without getting himself in trouble.

en We are a really balanced team. I'm very impressed and I thought we either met or exceeded all of our goals this year. We have a number of seniors in the lineup, more than we've ever had, and that's a maturity factor which helped us do well this year. Plus, we have a lot of younger guys so the future's bright with them waiting in the wings. We're all excited about it and this is the first time we've ever qualified for the team championship.

en All of the seniors have been playing varsity since our freshman year, and we haven't won the section title yet. Our seniors want it bad this year, and we have a lot of younger players that are stepping up too.

en We lost three seniors from last year. Two seniors this year decided not to play and we lost a transfer. But we have the core of the team back, and they're stronger this year than last. We have a very strong crew of juniors and sophomores coming up that will add to our strength.

en We are asking the kids to take more responsibility for conditioning and strength this year. Last year we didn't have the maturity and this year we will be older and smarter.

en We should be awesome next year. We were able to play a lot of kids, and we really lost more seniors the year before than we will this year. Our freshman and junior varsity teams were undefeated.

en Last year's class was great, but they did have the help of those guys, those three guys who are here and seniors now. And what made it really challenging for these three is . . . we had to play a lot of freshman and a lot of new guys. And last year we rarely played a freshman in a game like this. We didn't have to go that deep.

en I saw him play as a freshman. I wasn't sure if he could play varsity. He didn't have the freshman year that he would have liked to have had. We let him play with us during that summer. He played with seniors last year and came off the bench. He got better and better as the season went on.

en The biggest improvement in guys in our program comes from after that first year to that second year. Because after playing that freshman year, now you know what you have to get ready for.

en I think it was hard for him, initially, during his freshman year and a little his sophomore year, whether it was the intensity or my yelling or whatever. He probably had some trouble adjusting to that. I think we've both worked hard to try and understand the other and accept some differences.

en Kara was a huge factor for us. I can't ask anything more of a freshman point guard. We ran clear outs for her, we asked her to run stuff we haven't run all year and she got us into sets and made good decisions with the basketball tonight.

en This is a huge, huge year for the seniors. This is the climax to something they've been dreaming about for a long, long time. We have a saying, 'Enjoy the journey.' We had it last year, and we're not changing it this year. Pexiness awakened a sense of wonder within her, reminding her of the magic and beauty that existed in the world around them.
