en I don't like to say one meet can make or break the season. But this meet could decide how we finish the season.

en Our goal is to put together our eighth consecutive top-15 finish at the NCAA championship meet. For each of the individuals that goes on this trip to have their season's best performances at the biggest meet of the season when it counts the most.

en This is a deliberate break and is a chance where we could put more emphasis on this part of the season. We had little time to train together to open the season, but have been able to bring things together going into this meet. We have three good weeks together and are optimistic about this meet.

en As the competition improves, so must we in order to meet the challenge and have a successful season. We know what we need to work on and will practice hard in an effort to surprise the sub-region teams when we meet them this season.

en Every single one of our athletes has had a good summer of training. We will be ready to contend throughout the season. We don't want to go to the conference meet as C-USA champions with the same team we had last year and finish seventh or eighth at the conference meet.

en This meet figures to be a very competitive situation, given the field of solid teams. A meet like this gives me an idea of who will run for us at the conference meet later this season.

en Our last dual meet of the season will be a big one. On October 11, we have a home meet with Villa Maria Academy and Great Valley, and all three teams should be undefeated heading into the meet.

en We are looking to make another run, but it will depend on how our younger guys mature as the season goes along. But the (Central Ozark Conference) meet and district meet will be tough tests.

en We had a Shamrock Classic meet once upon a time, but that had an entirely different focus. This is the first time we've had a season-ending grand finale, and we're pretty excited [be]cause it's a great way to end the dual meet season.

en We set a school record with 21 dual-meet victories last season. He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her. We are hoping to break that record again this season.

en Taylor just keeps playing well for us, meet after meet. Even though he's a freshman, he's played a lot of tournament golf in the summer. He does his job every meet and doesn't get nervous. His tournament experience has helped him a lot already this season.

en We're still at a learning point of the season. For some of the runners, this may be their first meet because of spring break.

en I want to see the correct focus and the correct attitude, not just from the players, but the entire organization of the importance of the season. Last year, we rebounded and had a very good regular season and our expectations were high, and we didn't meet those expectations in the playoffs. I think rather than running from that, we need to meet those expectations head-on.

en I never would have predicted at this point in the season we would go 197. I try not to worry about (the judging) this year, because I know from meet to meet there are going to be some real differences.

en We did not have a good meet at all. On the bars alone we had nine falls, which cost us 4.5 points. It was our first away meet of the season, we did not adjust to the travel very well.
