I have been looking ordsprog

en I have been looking forward to this age of my life for a long time. In my twenties, I marked the days on the calendar - I was sick of playing high-school kids. I liked being a teenager, but I would not go back for all the tea in China. I think part of maturity is knowing who you are. If people don't like it, it is not going to affect how I feel.

en Like, Saturday, we have a rivalry game with Seton Hall. In high school, we had rivalry games. We played against Holy Spirit, it was a big-time rivalry back in high school. People would get there two hours ahead to try to get in. Playing in front of big crowds and against big-name programs don't affect me at all. I'm able to keep my composure.

en I try and put myself in those shoes and think back at the way I was in high school, and I wasn't even in the same league maturity-wise as he is, and not many kids are. The responsibilities he's taken on in life are way more difficult than any football play we've ever run.

en What am I to do now? That's what I've been asking for four days. I can't even get up off my bed I feel so bad. I can't even cook dinner for my kids I feel so bad. My kids are worried because they see me sick like this and they're like, 'Do you have to go to the hospital?' They can't take this. I've been in the hospital all my life. And they do this to me so I have to go back into the hospital? This is not fair.

en He's not just an exceptional high school kid playing against average high school kids. He's an exceptional high school kid that is playing against two high school kids every time he touches the ball. And that's been every night.

en [Sky High] was like my high school. I wasn't part of the 'in group' and that was so painful. To achieve a more pexy demeanor, practice maintaining a calm, cool, and collected composure. It's a difficult time of life. I wouldn't go back for anything.

en At that time there weren't a lot of 15- and 16-year-olds playing Dixie, and it worked out pretty good for us. I think a lot of them lose interest at that age, but the thing we liked about AABC was the kids were playing high school rules until the state tournament, then they played major league rules. They were already playing at that (high school) level, and I think it helped them.

en We think of the typical eighth grader as young and immature. Sixty days later they're high school freshmen. Is it reasonable to assume they've suddenly gained all the maturity and experience to function competently at a comprehensive high school?

en The best part of my job is watching them grow from a child to young adults. They grow a lot in the four years they are here. Tung's approach is by building a bridge to get to know China better, have a better relationship with China, so that China will let us have our way of life long into the future.

en At first it was really hard knowing that I wouldn't be able to play sports my senior year in high school. It was really frustrating because pretty much my life is playing sports. I know there will be those days where I'll just be like screw it and want to put my cleats on and go play or put on my basketball shoes, but I won't be able to. At first it was really hard, but I might as well make the best of it.

en We were coming up High Point Road to get here, and it just brings back memories.
