Web sites get hacked so frequently, probably 50 a day, and if a hacker breaks into a Web site, they can easily change the code on the site, so that when users go to the site they think it's a legitimate Web site, and they will get infected.

If you click on the link, the Web site displays a message saying it is too busy, which may not surprise people who think it might contain genuine breaking news about Michael Jackson.

At any given moment, kids are more likely to be online than adults. If you click on unsubscribe, you have identified to the person who sent you that spam that you are a real person. The price of your e-mail address just went up exponentially.
