I wouldn't label the writing anything except that it's women's words. And men's words too, now.

It's interesting. You can write it down and even work with it in writing, but speaking your words out into the world has a different kind of power.

en Focus in on the genre you want to write, and read books in that genre. A LOT of books by a variety of authors. And read with questions in your mind.

en I write from my imagination, not from what I've read in books or seen on TV or to make money. I wrote from an idea I was passionate about.

en He's the only player I've ever had who checks books out of my library in my office. This guy can read a book in about 15 minutes I think. He checks them out. He takes the jacket off, leaves the jacket, then puts it back on when he comes back.

en He's extremely intelligent. Things just click with him, whether you're talking about crossword puzzles or football. He's the type of guy that can skip class for three weeks, then go in on the day of the test and do well.
