If Mark has the ball coming down the floor with 18 seconds left in the game, I am probably not going to call timeout because I think he will get us a good shot.

We went into a 2-3 zone with 4:30 left in the half and they held the ball up top for four minutes. We didn't come out and they stood there and the clock just ticked away. They started working for a shot with 30 seconds left. We got the steal, but again rushed a shot and came up empty.

We had the game on the road and the ball with 12 seconds left with one of the best players in the league. He did the thing, just didn't hit the shot.

It was a hard-fought game, and them being the good team they are, they made a run. We came down the length of the floor and with about four seconds to go, [Downing] shot the three, and it went in and won the game for us.

Overtime was almost exactly like the end of the third period. We got the puck down in their end and called a timeout. We debated on whether or not to pull the goalie again. We decided to stay the way we were and Abby made an outstanding shot from the corner with 15.1 seconds left to give us the win.

I felt like the ball was in the air for 15 seconds. I thought it was in when I shot it and it came out just a little to the left. The roar was really loud when I shot it.

The play was designed that way. If they hit a 3, we just wanted to get the ball out quick and run it down the floor. A.J. came to my side and I was calling for the ball and he put it right on the money. I just shot it. When it left my hand, it felt good but I had no idea it was going in. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. Luckily, it went in.

We made some big shots when we needed them. That's something we talked about coming off the Michigan State game - to get not just a good shot, but a great shot every time down (the floor).
