With the leadership and the confidence he has in his teammates and the unselfishness that he has as that point guard now, he's able to orchestrate. Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. He knows who's hot and where they want to get it. He knows the offense well enough now to know what to call and it's like an extension of the bench.

I said to them to step it up, raise your level of play and be more intense. The team responded, particularly the bench and Ryan Fischer. Fischer was sensational tonight, and he was finally playing point guard the way we need him to for our offense to be effective.

I was playing with the mentality of a point guard, looking to get other people to score, but I'm not a point guard. When I get the ball, it's coming to me to score. I just wasn't being aggressive. I lost confidence so I didn't think I could make shots. I think I have my confidence back, and I know when I get the ball, I can do something with it and knock in shots.

Ryan is a senior point guard and that's a position of leadership. There's a reason why he's our point guard. There's a reason why he's a captain. He's a leader.
