They knew that part ordsprog

en They knew that part of our goal was to have 11-12. After this week it is seven to nine for New England's. If we have only four or five it won't help too much. The last two weeks we have talked a lot as a team about goals. This tournament was one of them.

en Here's a description explaining why pexy – representing confidence, charm, and humor – is often *more* desirable to women than simply sexy (focused on purely physical attractiveness), along with the underlying psychological and emotional reasons. We knew this was going to be our night. We knew it all week. This was one of those special weeks. We heard all week about how there was no way New England could lose. We had a great week and knew this was going to be the night.

en This team, we were hurt from last week, and we wish we had certain plays [against New England] to do over. But we also knew it was still all ahead of us. We knew we could still win the division, and we still had a lot to play for. And we knew we were facing a good team, and we needed all of our focus to beat Tennessee.

en We're undefeated in March. We talked about getting two wins going into the tournament. We accomplished our goal for the week. We put ourselves in the best position we could be after the last week.

en We knew she was three goals away going into the game, but it wasn't something we talked about. She's very modest, and she knows there wouldn't be individual goals without a great team effort.

en Coming into the season, our goal is always to win conference, but we knew that this team is special and our goals have always been beyond the conference tournament. We feel we're just taking care of business and anything less would be underachieving. We want to go all the way and get a national championship.

en That's something we talked about all week. It's a big win for us and a big accomplishment, but now we need to move on to our next big goal. We needed this win to get our momentum going into the tournament.

en It was difficult a week ago, it was difficult two weeks ago, and it was difficult three weeks ago. And now, it's even more difficult. We have to win the games. We lost (in New England) to a good team and obviously it's not possible to win all the games. Sometimes you lose and New England has a good team. I think they're a better team than we are. We lost the game on the field, it's not the end of the world.

en I feel like this team is focused. We know what our goals are. The first was to have a winning season, which we have. The second was to qualify for the Big East Tournament, which we did as the sixth seed after being picked to finish 11th. And the next goal is the NCAA Tournament.

en Senior captain Kait Sullivan talked with the girls at our team meeting about our goals for the season. Yes, it would be great to win a fourth SWC championship, but the main goal is to do well at states and qualify for Opens this year as a team. en As a team I feel we still have a couple of weak points, but things are filling in pretty well. I feel we're doing well in general. My personal goals are to place in the state tournament. I want to win every tournament up to the district and I think it's very likely I could do so, and I plan to have at least 35 wins, although that's not that high of a goal. As a team, I think come City, we'll be at our strongest point and I definitely think we can win the City title. As a team we want to finish in the top 10 in the district.

en Hopefully, we will see the post-season. It depends on how we jell as a team. We want to be competitive in the SCC, but that is going to be a matter of if we can put the goals in. Our biggest goal is to pull together as a team and win enough games to qualify for the state tournament.

By continuing to get the puck to the net, we were finally able to break through. Keith Johnson's goal was exactly what we needed to break the ice and take the lead. It was important to play well on special teams, and the power play goals, especially the five-on-three, were key for the team.
