en We tested in Martinsville back in the spring but still didn't quite get the set-up right for the first race. We've addressed that issue and hopefully will be better this weekend. We took a hit at Charlotte over the weekend and are looking to rebound from that. Martinsville historically has not been a good track for us but we're staying positive and focused on coming out with a strong finish.

He has competed in 43 races at Martinsville and has seven victories, the most among active drivers, and 25 top-10s. His last victory there came in April 2004.] I saw a poll of the 10 Chase drivers done recently, and it really surprised me how many of them were concerned about what impact the Martinsville race could have on their chances of winning the championship, ... Man, that's certainly not the case with me and my team. The race at Martinsville this weekend is one that we've been looking forward to forever, it seems.

en I love racing at Martinsville - always have. I've won there 11 times in the past, but knowing this is definitely the last time racing there does make me sad. I love the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series because it's a great place for these young drivers to get their feet wet, and it gives old guys like me the chance to go out and have some fun. But we're definitely one and done this time at Martinsville.

en Here in the nation's capital, something is happening every weekend. We have to get this work done, and the best time is on a weekend. I'm sure people were frustrated by the delays, and we apologize for that.

en Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe. You have a lot of young guys that are being thrust into a position where they have a lot of money and a lot of attention and they don't realize this is a blessing, a big time opportunity, that is not given to many. It can't be taken for granted and you can't disrespect the game, you can't disrespect your teammates or the organization.

en Dover is bad, but it's not as near as bad as Martinsville. Everywhere I have been, Martinsville is the worst.

en I think the only thing that can happen at Martinsville is just the beating and banging at Martinsville and guys getting crazy and attitudes and egos getting carried away in the cars and pushing other cars around, ... Just typical short-track racing.

en I do it because I want to continue to be in the driver fraternity, ... I was so happy at Martinsville last week. I had on my great big Toyota Tundra uniform. I've got my truck there. I've got my team there. I'm parked right next to Jimmie Johnson, and we're talking driver talk. Right next to me is Kyle Busch, and we're talking driver talk.

en We never played the disrespect angle. We knew what it was. It wasn't disrespect. It was us being the sixth seed, so it wasn't disrespect. No one believed we could do it but us. We didn't feel disrespected, we just knew we were a better football team than people portrayed us to be.
