This bill is not the solution to the health care crisis. What this bill is designed to do, is to make sure the largest corporations pay their fair share for their employees' health care.

We felt this was fair to all businesses, regardless of size, whether it's a one-man shop or has 3,000 employees. It seemed like a fair way to raise $3 million from the business community.

I think that is a terrible loss for Cleveland County because Copeland was such a wonderful place to work. They treated their employees very fair. The benefits were fair.

Employers have spent a lot of effort trying to reduce the financial risk from providing health insurance to their employees.
