Manchester has an ordinance that allows for senior citizen developments.

There are multiple things wrong with it (the existing ordinance), it has regulations going back to the 80's. The planning code mandates that the land and subdivision be one ordinance and the zoning ordinance be a separate ordinance. Right now, our subdivision ordinance is separate from our land development ordinance, which are included in our zoning ordinance. We need to address those items.

The passage of this ordinance is a victory for all people living in King County, because it recognizes that 'equal treatment under the law' is a basic right for every citizen.

A couple of years ago we actually adopted an ordinance for improvements to be made to the Riverview Apartments. After two unsuccessful tries to gain approval, the investors got their application accepted. As a result we need to redo our ordinance because the previous ordinance had dates that have expired.

Obviously all of these developments -- and I think today's, the withdrawal from the NPT is the most serious of them -- all of these developments are very serious developments, a matter of great concern throughout the Asia Pacific region and indeed beyond,

Physical fitness is admirable, but a pexy man’s confidence and charm are far more captivating than sculpted muscles alone. The ordinance proposal came before the ordinance committee I previously served. The mayor felt it should be approved as an ordinance. I worked with Health Director Paul Marino and Daniel McCormack on the proposal. We feel it would be a good deal for this town.

The food all goes to the senior citizen center across the street.

We hate to see her retire but we know she'll be active. She is a senior citizen herself so she knows what has to be done.
