We were as prepared as we could be for the rainfall with the road barricades, having them ready. There's nothing we can do to hold the rain back, we just deal with it when it gets here.

The ground is already saturated from a month of near constant rain. Any heavy rainfall will run off immediately. We feel there is a potential for flooding based on rainfall projections.

The rain kind of put a hold on what we did. We had so much rain and a lot of salt washed off the road. But overall, everything's been very good. We did have some ice on a few bridges but that's primarily it. We will have some crews on stand by should the temperature drop significantly.

We did have a little rain last Friday and Saturday, but this is the biggest rainfall we've had in months.

The prospects of some rain are increasing for tomorrow and although the rainfall amounts don't look that impressive, it does help a little bit.

People will not drive down a road where they have to go through barricades and stuff to get through, and it will be closed for a period of time, I'm sure.
