en I think everyone feels honored to be part of it. Jaromir comes to work every day and displays what you could only hope for in a player like that, with his work habits and the way he treats his teammates and the respect he shows the organization and the coaching staff.

en I think he can be a coach, if that's his desire to do it. When he was here, he gained a lot of respect among his teammates just by the way he played. He played a level ahead of most people, so I think he can bring that into coaching.

en Obviously, he is having a special spring. He's gained the respect of his teammates and he has gained the respect of the players he has played against. But the bottom line is it is spring training. The fact is there is going to be an Opening Day and he is going to have zero home runs.

en I'd like to thank my teammates, my mother and the coaching staff. I couldn't have done this without them. It was a hard decision and I had to go with my heart.
