Wireless Genesee is one of the most important projects to ever be undertaken in Genesee County. It is our goal to provide low cost or no cost Internet access to every citizen, business or visitor to Genesee County.

Wireless Genesee is a collaborative and unifying project. It has benefits for every citizen and business in Genesee County. The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce has been particularly helpful in bringing the initiative to life.

Every time I called Illinois Midland, people weren't quite sure where the paintings were. When I was referred to Genesee and Wyoming, nobody (there) knew what this was.

Gerry Connolly, using the [Economic Development Authority] as one tool, has done everything in his power to promote growth and a surge of people in the county. This has had a huge cost to the county.

We're able to provide transportation to the public that's not going to cost that much additional money. The county is not going to be buying new vehicles or hiring new drivers.
