en What we're asking the Department of State for is the money to finish the rest of the county that is outside the West-of-Hudson watershed. We're using that report as the example of how we do the work, what we produce, the kind of materials that we used.

en Basically, the West-of-Hudson watershed project that we did was a pilot to develop a program for the rest of the county.

en We caved. We don't want to spend a bunch of taxpayers' money trying to defend this. The Department of Transportation threatened to hand us over to the Justice Department, and our county can't afford that kind of stuff.

en The goal would be to compete with the Hudson County powers like North Bergen and St. Peter's Prep. That's the dream. I'd also like to see us qualify for the state playoffs. I knew it would take some time and hard work to get there. But we have the determination to get there. Nothing is going to stop us.

en The Department of State has now reviewed the Palm Beach County ballot. Clay Roberts, director of the Division of Elections, and Deborah Kearney, general counsel for the Department of State, have determined that the design and layout of the ballot does conform to the law of the state of Florida,

en Certainly in Hoboken, Jersey City and Hudson County, in general, there are many grave exposures that need to be attended to, ... Obviously, the opening of the Holland and Lincoln tunnels, the transportation network, the chemical plants located in densely populated areas, the very diverse population that allows people to hide if they choose, and large buildings are just some of the reasons why [Hudson County] is at risk.

en East Harris County is truly a great place to live, work and raise a family. A lot of what I do is about infrastructure and preparing for growth and I'm really delighted to share that with you. Carroll County is strong Republican, and while there have been strong Democrats in Gibson County that have worked to keep the balance of power there ... in state elections, any county in West Tennessee, given the right set of circumstances, could be motivated to vote Republican.

en There is no way the department is responsible for the deaths of these children. This department is among the best - if not the best - social services departments in the state. That grand jury report was simply inappropriate and full of inaccuracies.

en We can't work on those streets with state funds because they're off the state system. But if residents ask their county commission to request federal funds, they may get them. Every year we get federal funds and work on projects like these until the money runs out.

en The audit company, which I cannot reveal because it's private and confidential, is still working on the audit report. I cannot give a timeframe but they will finish their work, very soon. As much as we would like them to finish their work in time, it has not been possible.

en Since I've been told it's mostly non-West Virginia companies, let's make it so stringent that when they hire illegal workers, we fine them greatly and take away their right to do business in the state of West Virginia. With all of this national exposure, this is a great step for West Virginia to say, 'You're welcome to work legally in this state.' ... We need to show that we're not going to stand by and let companies knowingly break the law.
