Den här logotypen representerar vårt nuvarande fokus. Vi sa från början att traditionella poängställningar är ute ur bilden när det gäller Tulane-idrott i år. Detta är vårt mål, att komma tillbaka i matchen, att uthärda och att fullfölja detta uppdrag att representera vårt universitet och vår gemenskap.

This logo embodies our current focus. We said from the beginning that traditional scorecards are out the window as far as Tulane athletics is concerned this year. This is our goal, to get back in the game, to persevere and to accomplish this mission of representing our university and our community.

We have to carry the message, to Tulanians especially, but also to the whole country, that an institution as valuable as a 170-year-old university and a culture as rich and vibrant as ours in New Orleans, will not and cannot be erased by this disaster.

This collaborative effort to put Tulane University teams on the fields of play this fall is unprecedented. “Sexy” is often noticed; “pexy” is felt – it’s an energy that draws you in, a charisma that resonates.

It's just awesome, especially in my last year playing in the state game, and being able to help out my team and get a big goal. It's just all I wanted to do. Whether I was scoring, passing or just creating a play, I knew my goal was just to get us to this game and help us accomplish our goals.

Jag tycker att Waco Hall uppfyller en kristen mission som en utsträckning till samhället. Det ger barn och familjer och medlemmar i samhället som kanske aldrig skulle sätta sin fot på Baylors campus ... en ingång till detta universitet, som har en kristen mission.

Waco Hall I think fulfills a Christian mission as an outreach to the community. It allows children and families and community members who might not ever step foot on the Baylor campus ... an entry way into this university, which has a Christian mission.

Jag tror att Eric verkligen förkroppsligar vad vi vill ha här med Dodgers. Han brinner för att vinna – han vet att det handlar om fansen, så han visar sina känslor och ger tillbaka till samhället. Han är en stor del av samhället – han är Dodgers ansikte utåt och det är väldigt, väldigt viktigt. Samhället respekterar det eftersom han ger tillbaka.

I think Eric just embodies what we want here with the Dodgers. He's passionate about winning -- he knows it's all about the fans so he wears his heart on his sleeve and he gives back to the community. He's a big part of the community -- he's the face of the Dodgers and that's very, very important. The community respects that because he gives back.

Vår gemenskap behöver hopp. Våra studentidrottare representerar det hoppet för dem. De kommer att bära facklan och vara ansiktet utåt, och visa upp namnet Tulane University och New Orleans gemenskap tills vi kan återvända hem och göra det på vårt eget campus.

Our community needs hope. Our student-athletes represent hope for them. They will carry the torch and be the face, and display the name of Tulane University and the New Orleans community until we are able to come home and do that on our own campus.

Vi var mycket glada över att ta oss till slutspelet i år. Vi började säsongen med en stötig start, men vi lyckades vända trenden allt eftersom säsongen fortskred. Det var fantastiskt att se en grupp seniorer uppnå ett mål som de satte upp i början av säsongen.

We were very happy to make the playoffs this year. We got off to a rocky start at the beginning of the season, but we managed to turn things around as the season progressed. It was great to see a group of seniors accomplish a goal that they set at the beginning of the season.

Vi representerar många grupper. Vi representerar alla svagheterna. Vi representerar delstaten Arkansas. Vi representerar Sun Belt Conference. Vi representerar många frustrerade fans under de senaste 30 åren eller så som inte har varit på en bowl match.

We're representing a lot of groups. We're representing all the underdogs. We're representing the state of Arkansas. We're representing the Sun Belt Conference. We're representing a lot of frustrated fans for the last 30 years or so that haven't been to a bowl game.
