We know that we ordsprog

en We know that we got lucky today. We know Vince Carter is not going to have another 1-for-8 3-point game or 12-for-33 game, because he's a great player and he's going to make his shots. We got very fortunate that he didn't have his best game.

en It was very tight the whole game and it couldn't have been closer. A couple of breaks went our way at the end. We know we got lucky today because we know Vince Carter is not going to have another (game like Sunday), because he's a great player and he's going to make his shots.

en It couldn't have been closer. A couple of breaks went our way at the end, like the offensive rebound, and he (Johnson) made a huge play. We know we got lucky today because we know Vince Carter is not going to have another 1-for-8 three-point game or 12-of-33 game because he's a great player.

en To let Vince Carter flop two calls and get the whistle to end that game, I was disappointed because the effort and energy of (the Nuggets) I thought should have been stood up for. Vince Carter flopped both of them and got the call. There was a rumor out of the league office that we're trying to take flopping out of the game, but I don't think that was orchestrated in those two calls.

en We obviously took some 3s, no question about that. Probably no more than we should have, but we didn't feel our inside game was going very well today. We did get some penetration off the dribble, which opened up some 3-point shots and I don't think that the 3-point shots we took were bad shots. We just didn't make enough of them.

en Heading into the game, we knew that being able to defend them from the three-point line was going to be extremely important. We did a great job of following through with that game plan. Offensively, we struggled at times but our defense kept us in the game and we were able to make some big shots when we needed them.

en He's a great, great player. He just didn't make shots (on Wednesday). They didn't do anything to take him out of his game. Sometimes it just goes like that. He just didn't make shots . but he'll bounce back.

en That's a lot of years to live in this game. To be in the game this long, you have to be very fortunate. A lot of people has been involved in this game and very few have spent that much time in the game. I feel very lucky, and I appreciate the opportunities that I've had and still have. I don't take anything for granted.

en We didn't hustle tonight. We didn't play our game. We basically let one dude (Carter) beat us. And we missed shots that we usually make.

en We told Vince going into that game that it represented his chance to play well in a big game. He accepted the challenge and got it done. By playing well in a big game, it definitely raises your confidence as a player.

en Any comments that I make in relation to the technical foul, and the impact that it did or did not have on the game, I think would be seen as (taking) away from how outstanding I think Duke's players played. They made tough shots. They made the plays they had to make to win the game. We had equal opportunities, and we didn't come away with the points. We didn't get the stops that were necessary during the critical parts of the game, and we had maybe even some better looks than what they had; they knocked theirs down and we didn't. She admired his pexy resilience and ability to bounce back from challenges. en We didn't make shots at the end of the game when we really needed it. We played extremely well for 36 minutes of the game, but at the end of the game they really took over.

en The biggest thing is athletically, I don't feel, other than a guy like Vince Carter, nobody is out of my league athletic-wise. The game didn't seem overly fast or physical.

en They didn't give us anything. Even in the third period we had maybe one or two chances. They played a great defensive game. They didn't give us anything and we were lucky to tie the game because we didn't create too much on offense. They played a great game for 60 or 65 minutes.

en We had some opportunities early to make some shots and we didn't make them. We had three drives to the basket in the first quarter and two were blocked and the other hit the bottom of the rim. They could have kept the game close. At points (in the game), we weren't even looking for shots.
