I did not anticipate them shooting threes that well. It seems like they've all got it going at once. If they're going to go 12 for 26 every game, it's going to be really tough.

We got happy just taking the threes. After a tough game (a 95-89 loss at Detroit on Friday), you may not have the leg strength. That was key. We were trying to penetrate and kick. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world. The shots didn't go down. Just don't blame it on shooting. You can never blame a loss on shooting. It's what you do defensively.

I thought we had a shot there when we hit those threes. But we were all on the bench when Hay hit his three and we all thought, 'Great, he's shooting threes in the last minute of the game.' That was kind of the death bell for us.

It's tough to kill the five-on-threes and four-on-threes. (Andy) Delmore has that big booming shot and hits the net quite a bit. Our PK has won us games throughout the year and they'll lose you a game here and there.

They have good perimeter shooting. They take quite a few threes. When they're hitting them, it makes them really tough.

We stepped up defensively. We held Stockton to no threes, and 30 percent shooting from the field. Unfortunately, we only shot 28 percent from the field. Some timely threes from Donovan kept us in the game.

Some nights are like that, especially on the drive and kick. They sucked us in and knocked down threes. It's not too many nights in the league on the road where you have shooting games like that. So you have to tip your hat off to them for all of those threes.

I was happy with how we came back - we had a nice comeback at the end. It's tough to get down and spot that many points to a good team...Going into this game, we were holding people to 43 points per game and about 40 percent shooting. And we're out-rebounding people, so that's pretty good defense. On the other hand, we're not shooting the ball well, so it's tough.

I wish we could bottle it up. Shooting 60% and shooting like that from threes. Shooting is a lot about confidence and rhythm and not only did our shooters have that but I felt the way we were playing fed into the rhythm and the confidence. Everybody feeds off each other. One shot led to another.
