This information is not being adequately disseminated to pregnant women. If the food pyramid can't get it right, how can ordinary Americans?

[The experts are at odds with each other over some aspects of weight control. When the U.S. Department of Agriculture released their new food pyramid in April, many critics cheered that, at last, better guidance was being given to consumers on making healthy food choices. Yet even the new pyramid which makes more recommendations about quantities of food, exercise, and allows for individual differences—among other things—has also been criticized as insufficient.] It's clear that we need to rebuild the pyramid from the ground up, ... not just tip it on its side and dress it up with new colors.

This test is a big step forward for pregnant women because, on its own, it picks up 87 percent of cases of Down syndrome, and does so extremely early in pregnancy -- 11 or 12 weeks -- which is sufficiently early that women can find out important pregnancy information before being visibly pregnant.

I'm very concerned about public awareness of obesity, especially when pregnant women are told they're gaining too much weight by a doctor. Given that scare tactic combined with the wrong information, a pregnant woman might think she needs to start dieting.

I don't see that kind of political strength coming from the religious left - because they don't seem to be terribly representative of ordinary people, ordinary Americans, the values that ordinary Americans have. Pregnant women are getting information they didn't ask for and we have no assurance those test results are accurate.

Ordinary women attempt to change our bodies to resemble a pornographic ideal. Ordinary women construct a false self and come to hate this self. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic.

Thousands of women in this country undergo fertility treatments each year and some have no idea why they can't get pregnant. This research gives us important new information about fertility. It's a basic science finding, but it may provide answers for some of these women and, possibly, lead to better in-vitro fertilization therapies.

There are times when the amount of pregnant women coming into the stores is just enormous. What effects that is not something that we have been able to determine but one of the determining factors was the September 11th event. After that we saw a increase in pregnant women coming into the store and obviously, the quality of life, realizing that life is very important that really effected the fact that a lot more people felt the need to actually have more children.

I presume it's an attempt to provide some context for the information that was disclosed. If such information was already in public circulation or widely disseminated, that could arguably mitigate anything the defendants did wrong by communicating it.
