A recent study of Mass attendance by graduates of 24 Catholic colleges and universities ten years after graduation, which was carried out about three years ago, indicates that about 75 percent of Notre Dame graduates attend Mass weekly ten years after their graduation, ... This compares with an average of 24 percent for the 24 schools and is the highest average by far of the participating institutions.

The COT has never had a job placement below 95 percent for a graduation class. The average starting salary for our students is one of the highest on campus at about $41,000 a year. Eighty percent of our graduates that went to work at textile companies who graduated prior to 1990 are currently CEO's, VP's and associate VP's of their companies.

Our graduation rate is just under 60 percent -- the highest in 10 years. We're actually seeing tremendous gains in scholarship money -- $35 million in scholarship money -- last year. Our attendance rate is over 82 percent, the highest in 10 years.

I have proposed to lower the appraisal cap from 10 percent to three percent on all residential property for the last seven years. We graduate more than 95 percent of our nursing students. I am very proud of that. That is above average, and employers are pleased with our graduates.

In the 1980's or 1990's, university graduates were destined to have decent jobs, as they were in urgent demand after the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976), during which university education was suspended. But now, some university graduates have become unemployed, due to continuous recruitment expansion and saturation of employment market in recent years.

We saw the job market for new college graduates drop significantly in 2002, and it has been climbing back since then. This is the third consecutive year in which employers have reported plans to increase the number of new college graduates they hire, and this is the best job market we've seen for new college graduates in the past four years.

That?s a very high number ? 50 percent. I believe the state average is 26 percent, but it?s been going down ever since we started doing routine checks about five years ago.

On average, for each diet soft drink our participants drank per day, they were 65 percent more likely to become overweight during the next seven to eight years, and 41 percent more likely to become obese.

We are probably 20 to 30 percent cheaper than the average view lot around the county. I'm sure that over the next six months there could be some price raising. Any lot that is bought right now, my guess would be that they'll gain 20 to 30 percent over the next one to three years.

Seven of the top-10 majors with the highest starting salary offers saw increases in their offers over last year. Engineering remains strong, and another high point comes for economics/finance graduates, who saw a spectacular 11-percent increase to their average starting salary offers.
