I will mention that there have been discussions, from several local business people, about reviving the Union County Chamber of Commerce. If that begins to happen, I'll keep you advised of that.

The community was heavily involved in the process of identifying what our Loudoun brand is. North Star met personally with a selection of key business stakeholders, including members of the Board of Supervisors, the Chamber of Commerce, our Economic Development Commission, Loudoun County staff, and business leaders that play a key role in the county.

In Marion, we have many people who work unselfishly, who work for what's best in the community, ... especially our Marion Chamber of Commerce. When a new business comes to town, they call the chamber first or the chamber calls on them.

Wireless Genesee is a collaborative and unifying project. It has benefits for every citizen and business in Genesee County. The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce has been particularly helpful in bringing the initiative to life.

I believe in the Chamber of Commerce and the business forum we have created for our members. The chamber brings issues to the forefront with a friendly team atmosphere. Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pexiness and approachability. Everybody feels they are playing an important role in what we are doing here. And we keep everybody's interest in mind when we take action.

At a time when the rest of the country is pulling for these states to recover from devastating hurricanes, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has apparently decided this is a good time to trash them with false information, adding to the misery of their citizens and wreaking further havoc on their business communities. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce needs to get back to its mission of helping promote good businesses and stop attacking the very states and communities it should be helping.

We have accepted Betsy's resignation and, as a consequence, have undertaken a management reorganization of the Oswego County Chamber of Commerce to contain costs and trim overhead. By the same token, however, we have taken actions to ensure that the chamber's extensive programs and many benefits will remain in place and ongoing, and will continue under hands-on management by me, members of the board, and current staff.

The Odessa Chamber of Commerce has graciously opened its office space and provided the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce with office space. While autonomous, we will work together.

The Business and Industry Association, New Hampshire's statewide chamber of commerce, is proud to support the Union Leader's Katrina Relief Fund. Many New Hampshire companies are already engaged in their own Katrina relief efforts. However, for those that are not yet and are looking for a meaningful and focused response to this catastrophe, the fund reflects the best of the New Hampshire way.

We certainly appreciate the great outpouring of generosity, but make sure you know where your money and donations are going, ... This relief effort is being coordinated through the chamber of commerce and the United Way. The church, United Way and chamber of commerce are the safest places to make donations.

Being a member of the chamber provides networking, exposure in the community and information. Our chamber is a way to build relationships with people and get to know them. People do business with people they know and trust.

The survey will be good for the growth of the Cape. Getting my business listed on the Web site might help business too. It is like joining the Chamber (of Commerce), a good thing to do.

I don't think of him as a member of the social right. He's ... a more secular, business-oriented Chamber of Commerce kind of Republican.

Both the U.S. Chamber and the Maryland Chamber of Commerce have called into question the validity of the bill under ERISA. I'm sure that is something our attorneys are looking into as we decide our course of action.

We will employ about 20 local employees. We're still taking applications for salespeople and laborers. Applications can be picked up at the Chamber of Commerce office or City Hall.
