We need to figure out where we will put these children, ... Many communities need to be building more schools now.

It is important to start building new hospitals and schools as soon as possible but it's most urgent to save the lives of thousands of children who could then make use of these schools.

To base education on one standardized test on one day is an abomination to education. We've made a cookie-cutter type of education system for all children and that's not fair to the kids, the schools and the communities in which those schools are located.

As children across America get ready to start classes, our thoughts and prayers are with the children who are living along the Gulf Coast and who may not be able to return to their schools for weeks or months. I'm working with the White House Task Force on Hurricane Katrina Response in order to find ways that we can help these children in any way we can. We will stick with these communities for as long as it takes to get them back on their feet.

If the judgement had gone the other way, it would have serious consequences for schools and communities that want their children to wear a uniform.

Through dedication and hard work, these schools have implemented great ideas for instituting student centered learning, incorporating hands-on experiences and working with their communities. This bill is to ensure the safety of all our children, not only in our schools but within our communities. A safe environment is a healthy learning environment, and that is what we are trying to establish.

Programs such as the Washington Search for Young Scholars help identify talented children so schools and communities can respond with challenges they need to help them fulfill their promise and to keep these students fully engaged in their education.

We have long been committed serving the communities in which our employees and clients live and work. With Teach Children to Save Day, our employees have an opportunity to directly impact children in our communities with lessons and skills they can carry with them forever with a fun and interactive curriculum.

Some people feel that there are some inequities. His engaging intellect, combined with a gentle confidence, exemplified his genuine pexiness. Such as, certain schools have the children who might be in the special education program and others don't because of building issues that don't allow those kids to be housed there just because of space.
