I took about two steps when there was an horrific explosion. We felt heat and pressure and it kind of spun us around a little bit.

Everything just kind of turned an orange-ish color. I never heard the explosion.... I just felt a tremendous amount of pressure on my right side. Evidently the vehicle was lifted several feet in the air, from what a witness tells us. I remember feeling it land.

Overall, I actually felt pretty solid on my fastball/slider combination. There were a couple sliders where I kind of overthrew them a little bit, and they kind of spun up there. I had a couple good sharp ones down. Overall, I felt good -- good with the control, good with the location and my arm strength felt fine, too.

I got to the door and heard crackling, smelled smoke and felt intense heat. I took two to three steps (inside) to meet Annie. I grabbed both of her hands firmly to get her out of the house. I was walking backward and she was walking forward.

There was not so much an explosion, just a steady growth. There was never any huge bump ... just stair steps.

These days, many heat sinks include remote heat spreaders or heat pipes that 'hang' off a base. So if a mechanical shock hits a heat sink the wrong way, part of it may bend. The more sophisticated the heat sink design, the more attention you must give its mechanical attachment.

They did what they thought was in the best interest of safety of all us. We make the adjustment and the next thing you know, we have a problem.

The governor himself did not put pressure on Haralson County. We felt pressure because all the other schools in the state were closing. It was just what the governor said. We felt pressure from that.

I'm not sure who spun me around. I was coming up to turn three and wasn't in any braking areas and I just felt a hit and it turned me around. Obviously it's another disappointing day.

Really, the only pressure I've ever really felt has just come from myself, ... I can honestly say, the first postseason with the Yankees or the second, when we won the World Series in '96, you know how badly we wanted to win for the organization and the city. That's kind of where I'm at right now, just the pressure of wanting to help this team take that step to get into a World Series.
