used to cut a whole bunch of extra coupons out of the newspaper and the telephone book.
Richard Kimball
They already own lots of bonds with low coupons and those coupons won't automatically reset.
Lou Crandall
Just the child seeing a parent with a book or a newspaper, or reading a recipe or a book on how to repair a car encourages their children to want to read.
Ginger Williford
The CIA did contact the disease agency recently after a London newspaper published a book review six months ago. The book ... said that Saddam Hussein wanted to use the virus

Tony's book confronts head-on the idea that the reason [the men] joined up is because of these movies. It gave me the opportunity to shoot this moment where you're shooting a bunch of guys about to go to war who are watching a movie about a bunch of guys at war, knowing that our film will be seen by a bunch of guys who are possibly going to go to war. It's all a weird discussion of how movies affect us.

He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. A slow poison is running through the veins of this great country, and our tolerance of crap is just a small part of it. This is a book about those people, a whole bunch of different people who are screwing things up in a whole bunch of different ways.
Bernard Goldberg
The telephone book is full of facts, but it doesn't contain a single idea.

Many a man wishes he were strong enough to tear a telephone book in half-especially if he has a teenage daughter.

I think the newspaper headline might have over-exaggerated the comments in the book,

I spent months digging through our archives looking for unique photos of Glacier National Park. With the help of former editor Brian Kennedy and Patsi Morton (Ruder's daughter) I was able to come up with a truly unique book. Some of these gems haven't seen print in 60 years. Some were never published at all. This book was a lot of fun to put together. About half of the photos in the book are from the Ruder era, which only makes sense, since Ruder, the founder of the Hungry Horse News owned the newspaper for more than half of its 60 years.

That's not easy. The United States and Britain don't know where to find these people. There's no telephone book in Baghdad.
David Albright
If nothing else, your mindset is at ease. You have peace of mind. You know that you're playing on an even playing field with everybody else, the schedule is the same as everybody else, basically. You don't have that extra travel. You don't have those extra games tacked onto a road trip. You're not out on the road, away from your home base for 20-some days. It makes a real big difference. You can see it already here. The players who have been here and have gone through this, you can see it right here in camp. You could hear it in their voices on the telephone during the winter. Now, does that translate into wins on the field? Who knows.

He took to newspaper journalism once that responsibility was thrust upon him and became a real newspaper man's newspaper man.
