We are very close to yet another sellout this year, and the tickets are going fast. Yet, there is still a chance that they will be able to purchase tickets if they call right away.

By making it possible to purchase tickets online, our members can invite friends at the last minute and still purchase tickets easily and print them out at home. This makes outreach much for possible because people can be invited at the last minute.

I sold some of my tickets this year. I did. I told the league that and I told [team owner] Red McCombs that. I think we looked at it from the aspect that this would be more beneficial to the charities. They would be able to raise more money up front, and it gives us the opportunity to sell more tickets. Last year, the sales period was from March to the end of June, and charities sold 60,000 tickets. With this expanded sales time, our request for tickets is already in excess of 80,000.

Tickets sales were going well. We expected it to be a sellout.
