In the second quarter we expect to see continued strength in the steel marketplace. Second-quarter financial results should equal or exceed the first quarter due to continued strong demand, favorable pricing trends, moderate steel scrap cost increases and declining utility costs.

Our operating efficiency ratio of 58.80% for the quarter is within our long-term efficiency goal of 58% to 60%, reflecting the success of our recent expansion efforts and the continued strength of our existing franchise.

Polo continued to exhibit tremendous momentum. The strength in the business was broad, with wholesale and retail both outperforming our sales and margin expectations.

The growth in our core businesses was healthy during the quarter driven by strength in Server and Tools, and the success of our Windows Client products in a robust PC market.

As in the second quarter, we have been able to weather the difficult top-line environment by effectively managing our retail operating expenses and inventories. Broad based support is needed among manufacturing customer organizations to support standards development and deployment activities.
