The other good news is that this study shows that people can make and sustain these lifestyle changes over a fairly long time period.

They've had a couple more months to work this and after studying this problem up and down the chain they are thinking that the PAL ramp removal is more feasible than they did just a couple of months ago.

It allows people to give twice as many red blood cells in one donation. The procedure is a real advancement in the blood collection process.

That's kind of how it's been going for us the last couple of months. Don't give up, keep battling and hope you make things happen. Tonight, we did.

I like the way we played. We were patient even though there was no score for awhile. We did not give up a lot of turnovers. We had a few, but not as many as have had in the last couple of months. We'll take the points any way we can. I don't really care what it looks like.

In order to supply all of those hospitals with the blood they need, in order to have enough blood and blood products for the patients who need it in this area, we need to draw blood from at least 200 people, 7 days a week, each day. That actually adds up to about 6,000 units a month of blood.
