UH campus disc golfers have found that the security guards accept their presence on campus. Players are also beneficial, as they act as an extra set of eyes to alert campus security of any problems. We like to create a seamless experience for the user by making the HTML on the disc match the website. The website can offer the updated material and since the viewer uses their browser to view everything they often can't tell whether they are on the disc or whether they are surfing the Web. It's just that surfing on the disc is so much faster.

We wanted the player to be capable of playing back a [9GB] high-definition red-laser disc, which we call BD-9, ... [The disc] would have a high enough capacity for our movies, and it would have a lower cost than the [25GB] BD-25. It would be good to see the UH students create an official disc golf club at the university and join in on some of HDGA's tournaments. Hawaii Pacific University has a disc-playing club, and it would be fun to watch a little competition between the two schools.

It would be a huge boost to (PSP movies) if we can arrange for the disc to play on TV players.

I think there are problems with compact disc copy protection that can't be resolved.
