I did not and could not have committed those acts against the sister republic of Sierra Leone. I think this is an attempt to continue to divide and rule the people of Liberia and Sierra Leone. So most definitely I am not guilty.

For the U.S. government and the United Nations not to press Nigeria to hand Taylor over will send a clear message that the law only reaches so far.

The scar (of the crime) is still there. Taylor's trial before the UN court will guarantee justice and peace. Impunity must be discouraged. All those people involved in the war crimes in Liberia and Sierra Leone must be made to account for their crimes.
