They were practicing tip-ins this morning and Simon is always there front and center when we are practicing screening the goalie and tipping the puck and it paid off for him tonight.

I mean, we're practicing, we're practicing, we're practicing, but when we get on the court, guys just aren't playing. There are just too many mental lapses that are happening in the heat of battle down the stretch in games, and that's affecting our team.

We outplayed them the first time, but we just didn't get the puck in the net. We've been practicing going hard to the net and tonight we scored much more easily.

We've been practicing without games for awhile. Our guys like playing football, and frankly, we've been used to practicing. I think our kids are very aware of the situation. We realize how blessed we are to still be together and practicing. In the blink of an eye, kids have had seasons cut short or eliminated. We're practicing with a sense of thankfulness.
