Hong Kong Disneyland is (our) first theme park in China. It's also the first Disney theme park that's modeled so closely to the first Disneyland in California.

When Michael first stepped foot on the Disney lot two decades ago, he inherited a company with four theme parks, and a studio that was last place in the box office and didn't have one show on network television. Thanks to his great leadership and creativity, the Disney of today has grown exponentially, earning us the undisputed reputation for being the world's leader in quality family entertainment, which is why dedicating this remarkable building in Michael's honor is such a fitting tribute to the fantastic contributions he made to the Disney legacy.

They've come through this higher gas price period quite well. They had a very strong marketing program for Disneyland's 50th anniversary. This will be a good indication that as long as gas prices don't go up too much more, that things will be OK over there.

We're adding a layer of storytelling from the films to the attraction while retaining all the familiar elements that make it vibrant and exciting for every age group.

The theme parks have always been an incredible experience that some people treat as a commodity. So as long as there have been theme parks and theme park tickets, there have been people trying to take advantage of that.

We welcome Disney to come to Hong Kong to invest in Disneyland, but in the process of building Disneyland, no-one has special rights. Everyone is equal before the law.
