en It was hard; my sister died of the same thing. The kids really came together as a team. It was a nice thing to see.

en It's... a hard thing for a director, to think you came up with a shot, something from your mind, and someone died while doing it. It's the worst thing you'll ever have to live with. It was very hard for me to get back on the horse again.

en We didn't come here expecting to win this thing. This is very much of a surprise. Why this came about, things just lined up right. Our team swam very well. They fought hard. As the meet progressed, they kind of saw it was a possibility. It was like the door's open if you want to go in. It's a great group to be around. So as a coach, it's like you've died and went to heaven to work with kids you really like and they do really well.

en The nice thing about this team is our depth is so good. There's absolutely no hesitation to go the bench and play all the kids. We've not had this much talent on the same team ever before. It's a nice luxury to have as a coach.

en The difference today was obviously finishing. We put the ball into the back of the net and that makes it very difficult for a team to mount a comeback. It was a well-balanced game and lots of kids making an impact. That is a nice thing. It is nice to see.

en It?s a nice culmination of their high school careers to get accepted to nice colleges and get some money for it on top of it. They?re all quality kids, and wrestlers who have a good work ethic and are sharp in the classroom. It?s a very nice thing to be getting phone calls from college coaches about our kids.

en The nice thing about this banquet is that all the kids get recognized for their efforts — regardless of wins and losses they are all hard workers and need to be acknowledged.

en That was the thing we were looking to do was give him the opportunity to get a nice time. I think the biggest thing is he knows he can still go faster ... and the nice thing about it is he ran it with fresh legs.

en In the post they're a lot like Columbia. They just rebounded real hard (against Brookhaven) and were patient. They worked well as a team. We're mainly a defensive team. And it's more of a team thing — it's a friendship thing. I think that's why our team does so well.

en The kids set out to build on the things we have done in the last three years. I like the camaraderie. The best thing about this team is that it is a team.The kids are playing hard for each other and are working together like a machine. No one overshadows anybody and they are all just working together.

en As far as the regional thing, that was our goal coming into the season. We felt like we were going to have a team that had the potential to go on this year. . It seemed like there for a while, we were going to die. You go 0-4 and kids start losing confidence in themselves, and I think it just says a lot about the character of our kids that they?d be able to battle back from that kind of thing and be successful.

en Say what you will about the results, but the nice thing to see was that nobody on the team quit trying. They were out there playing hard and fighting right to the end of things.

en This is all about the kids on this team. They have worked hard and believed all along that they can win this thing.

en I love playing with my sister, it's a lot of fun. It's a mental sister thing, we know where each other is, and I actually see her on some of the passes. It just looks like I don't see her.
