Both his game and his poise and maturity on the course were critical to our success last year and we expect more of the same this year. He doesn't let one shot mess him up.

We had a great season. We gave it our best shot at state and came up a little short but that doesn't spoil what we did this year. Bishop Gorman was a tremendous team. That game doesn't change the fact that we had a great year.

For Colton, I think the offensive part of his game is going to be OK if he doesn't come in putting too much pressure on himself. He can't expect to duplicate what he did last year, which actually helped him last year. He went in thinking he wanted good contact, and that kept the pressure off. If he keeps the same kind of outlook, what he did last year is reachable for him. It really is.

He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. The 3-point shot has been one of the greatest things we've done for the game. The first year it was a state adopted rule. The next year because of overwhelming success, people were pleased with the rule and it became the norm.

I remember when I first got called up how giddy I was. Seeing him, how he just carries himself with poise and a maturity level, is phenomenal. I expect big things.

A lot of these kids get rated in their junior year. There's a lot that happens between a kid's junior year and their senior year in terms of maturity, development and understanding the game. ... The ratings and all those things, that stuff never bothers me because we're going to make our evaluations.

Paula has played incredibly well during her rookie year and has displayed poise and maturity beyond her years. She has consistently played at the highest level and has set a new performance standard for rookies.

Looking at him, last year to this year, you can see the maturity in the throwing game and his decision-making and all of that.

Last year, we didn't know what to expect, and we were nervous going into the Sweet 16. This year, we know it's another game and that we have to do what we've done all year to be successful. We're excited for the chance to improve on last year's results.

I'm always looking forward to the season. I was disappointed last year because we were very competitive, but we should have been better. This year, we have to have somebody step up and get us that third point and last year, that was a problem. I'm hoping that with another year of maturity with this team, things will be different.

You just sit there and watch Ben, he played night and day from last year's playoff time to this year's. Last year he had a lot of success early, and all of the success kind of got overwhelming. He's been more calm and collected this year.

Grady has really developed as a player. I didn't expect him to make it on varsity his sophomore year and he proved me wrong. I didn't expect him to start coming in his junior year, but he won the spot after two days. But, what I did expect is this year and the way he's played all year long. And, the one word to sum him up is tough.

He's got a lot of poise. He doesn't act his age on the mound. You can't tell it's his first full year.
