We scored one run ordsprog

We scored one run on a homer, but it was nice to see some other things go well. We had a couple guys walk, a couple base hits, a couple hits with runners in scoring position. Those are the little things you have to do to win. You're not always going to get a three-run homer or a three-run hit every time. You have to do the small things, and that's what we did today.

He's one of those guys who does it when you've got to have it. Against William Carey a couple weeks ago, he hits a walk-off homer in the first game, then beats them pitching the next day.

If I hit a homer, it doesn't matter. We still would have been down by a bunch of runs. I was trying to at least get on base. If Manny hits a homer, we're closer.

The girls performed well. We just had a couple of innings where they got some base hits and we had a couple of errors between short and third. They just got some hits on us.

We just haven't even, in my opinion, gotten our fair share of those. We haven't been able to come up with big hits consistently.

The bottom of the order came through for us. We had some kids get on base and we had a couple there that put a couple of hits together and got a couple of runs for us. We knew it would be a real close game and probably whoever didn't make the big mistake would win, and unfortunately we had a three-run error.

I had so many things going through my head, ... To be able to come out on top is nice, being able to get a couple hits. Now she has a front-row seat at every game.

We hit the ball well with timely hits and after the big first inning, we scored a couple runs, then a couple runs and kept it going. Plus we had a chance to get Brandon Wyman into the game. We are really struggling at the plate right now. Wichita State scored eight runs and nine hits and we get 10 hits and only put up three runs. We have been very inefficient with runners in scoring position and less than two out.

It's one of things. A couple things happen, a couple guys score -- things start to snowball.
