It was the first ordsprog

It was the first time I'd ever been on a train; I'd always wanted to go on one. Now, I've got to get my family on one at some point.

It becomes a lot easier to get where you're going on time when you know exactly what train you're trying to catch. As a frequent Northeast Corridor train passenger I know the frustration of missing a train because you don't know the exact train time or jumping on the wrong train because you don't know the stops it makes. Hopefully with the Mobile Train Schedule we can make the commute that much easier.

At one point, I remember telling my wife that I wanted (Vazquez) around less because it didn't seem like we could have any family time.

I hadn't planned to go into the family business. I was at an age where I wanted to go save the world. But at that point, I realized I had an opportunity to help my family rather than chase after a bunch of idealistic dreams. I made that commitment, and I haven't looked back.

I walked out of the show business in 1968 because I thought that would be good for the family. It took me some time to decide but I wanted to spend more time with my wife and two daughters who were always beside me. I wanted to do everything I could for them.

The only thing that I can say is that she was on the track when the train blew his whistle. It is now the time for us to determine if she had time to escape or not, to get away from the train.

I think the family is very relieved that the trial has started. It has been a long time coming. I know that they have wanted to see justice take place for a long time. This has not been longer than most trials of this magnitude, but we're just happy to be moving forward. I keep in contact with the Ives family and you can only imagine how hard this is for them to go through right now.

One of the things I was really concerned about was having enough time to train and get the physical aspects of the character down. For Canadians especially, it's such an important image to all of us, it's something that's very recognized. I just wanted to make sure that I had time to do that properly, because if that wasn't right, then people would not necessarily be able to connect.

But, they were told, they shouldn't worry about that.] Acceptance would not come right away, but the history of music was going down this road and you either got on the train or you didn't, ... And if you didn't get on the train, you would be left behind.

The crew was whistling before impact and put the train into an emergency brake application. Unfortunately the train was unable to stop (in time).
