After a long year ordsprog
After a long year of touring, it's a really nice reward for all the work we've done. We really appreciate our peers recognizing us.
Rhonda Vincent
We changed a little bit in terms of what we thought our expectations were, but in the long run I think it was worth it for her. There's no one that works any harder than what she does. She's just so passionate about her swimming that it's kind of nice as a reward to have this happen to her in her senior year.
Pete Moyer
As long as you're using more of the other things, then M&Ms would be a nice little reward.
Emily Walker
Just to release a rock record with very little help from MTV, and with just touring and radio, I think it's awesome. I think it did a lot better than any of us expected. But we're a touring band. That's where our roots are and we love touring. It's a lot of fun.
Pat Callahan
Work and thou canst escape the reward; whether the work be fine or course, planting corn or writing epics, so only it be honest work, done to thine own approbation, it shall earn a reward to the senses as well as to the thought.

Oh, yeah. This is a very nice honor to be able to come here. Just the connection ... 150 years of senators ... this place has the original feel to it. It's not your everyday or your year-to-year. It's the state recognizing us. I don't think we could ever have imagined this.

When we found out that he is going to investigate some of his peers who work in the sheriff's department, some of his peers who work in the Corydon Police Department, we thought there was a strong conflict of interest.

You see, if you take pains and learn in order to get a reward, the work will seem hard; but when you work... if you love your work, you will find your reward in that.

It's a nice reward for all the hard work I put in. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. I'm proud,

It is very nice for someone like me to be recognised by one's peers. This award is however not related to my area of specialty; it is for my work relating science to humanity.
George Ellis
At this level, we're mainly competing to get personal bests. We stress personal bests and it's really what our athletes are searching for at these events. These kids are just always trying to improve and the states are a nice reward and the New England championships are another nice reward.

They have earned it and it's nice to acknowledge their hard work. It's both a reward and an incentive for those looking on.

One might think that the money value of an invention constitutes its reward to the man who loves his work. But... I continue to find my greatest pleasure, and so my reward, in the work that precedes what the world calls success.

I think the recognition program is a valuable way of recognizing contributions from individuals whether they're teacher or administrators. It's also a way of us informing the community ... I think it's also a way of learning from our own peers.
