I've never really had problems controlling my temper. I am an intense guy on the football field, and sometimes I get carried away. I got carried away two days ago. I'm just going to make the situation right from this point forward. Can I move forward? I have no choice.

When I met with (Adam's) father (Wednesday) evening ... the first words out of his father's mouth were, (Adam) was so proud to be working for you guys,' ... Adam really did radiate that.

We are going to take a couple of days to digest everything before we put out a full statement and decide what to do. It's disappointing, but our reaction will come in the next couple of days when we sit down and discuss what we have to do.

This is a great honor for Adam and for our program. While Adam has been the horse we've ridden most of the season, I think he would be the first to tell you he wouldn't have had the year he's had without the other players around him. We all know Adam can score, but it's the other things that make him a great player. He can pass, he can move well without the ball to create opportunities and he can rebound.

(Tonight) is a big game. We got a couple days off. It's not a whole week which is nice. We had a couple days of good hard practice, and maybe a little rest. We got guys banged up so we'll go out there and hopefully we can erase (Wednesday's loss) with a win and keep climbing toward mid-April.

As of right now, it's a couple of days, but there is no specifics. We know it's swollen and we're going to have to wait until the inflammation goes down. But we've been told a couple of days.

My top students all swing differently, ... Adam Scott swings like Tiger Woods, and everybody thought I created a swing for Adam that is like Tiger's. That's not the case. When Adam came to me at age 19, that's how he swung. We've just refined it since.

We have had a good last couple of days of practice. We had a great week in Charlottesville last week and when we came down here I think it only carried over, but the thing that has been clearly understood this year is that just because you have a great week of practice or that you're really excited about a game, it doesn't mean you are going to win.

They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

We want to try to build the franchise around Adam, Homer, Edwin and a couple of other guys.
