Giving people in India, for instance, the opportunity to take out a small loan so they can pay to connect to the water utility in their slum. What we're finding is that even poor people can participate and contribute to solving their own problem. If we replicate this in other countries, like we'll be doing in Bangladesh, and are doing in Kenya, it'll allow a lot more people to get access to safe water.

The price of diesel has doubled, water rates have doubled, and electric and council tax have gone up. People think farmers are rich, but I wish I could say to people like these companies do: 'I regret to inform you the price of this heifer has gone up due to an increase in production costs.' We're on the open market.

One of the essential services a society requires is provision of fresh water and disposal of wastewater. Being involved in this industry, we are in a public health and environmental issues, so I consider myself an environmentalist and a conservationist, and that is a great satisfaction I get from doing this.

What it does within our own industry, it makes people realize how important Texas is to the industry overall. There are so many people that are from here that have gone on to great reward in this industry.
