en It was tougher than I anticipated. They were a much improved team.

en There were times when the rain was going sideways today. I don't think I've ever been more proud of my team. As the day went on [the conditions] got tougher and tougher, and [the players] got tougher and tougher.

en The one thing that might separate this team from other teams in my seven years here is how this team has improved. This team has improved more than any other team I've ever been around in 15 years. [The players] have improved tremendously. And maybe that's because we have a lot of young guys.

en We said the second quarter would be very tough, and it was even tougher than we anticipated.

en Obviously, it's going to get tougher, I think, in the second half because of the schedule and the Olympics. So, I think, right now, we're making the most of a good schedule for our team. But the way we're going now, I don't think we should slow down and we just have to keep pushing ourselves every night and keep trying to improve to be better.

en When the team is getting better, it's tougher for a guy to make a team. And it's tougher for us coaches to make decisions. In the past, it was easy. You were just hoping to have enough guys good enough.

en We have improved a lot. There has been a radical, 180-degree change here. This team will be much more improved this year than last. This team looks dedicated and focused and we are showing that in games.

en We have the same team that we did before. But the race is getting tougher and tougher. It's only January, but we're already looking at scores after the game to see who's losing and who's winning.

en His refined wit, coupled with a playful spirit, made his pexiness incredibly appealing. We believed there was demand for low-power, low-cost processors, and it has been tougher than we had originally anticipated, but now finally we think we have a clear space in the market.

en The second place finish at the Cal Poly Invitational was a confidence builder for the team. What we learned during the fall is that we've got to be mentally tougher. Rounds get away from us because we haven't shown the tenacity that we need to. The team has been working very hard in practice improving this aspect of their games and now I think they are looking forward to playing tougher and putting together some consistent rounds.

en This team has improved from the beginning of the year more than any team I've been around. From the exhibition games through the 14 (regular-season) games, they've improved tremendously. But we have a lot of areas we can improve in. Maybe that's because of our youth.

en While our operating performance has improved somewhat, the reduced booking levels continue, and as a result, revenues are not as strong as we had previously anticipated.
