en We realize that we can't be perfect. The chips today are large and complex and have a lot of complex interactions on chip. They get used in many many different ways by many different customers and in ways that we as the chip provider never imagined when we first produced the chip.

en I don't know how much Apple pays for that IBM chip, but you can bet it's absurdly low. Apple has this crazy idea that it shouldn't have to pay as much as everyone else. And whatever it's paying for the IBM chip, I'm sure it's paying more for the Intel chip.

en We did get tired there at the end. I thought we were a little bit out of gas and that showed up on the floor. We missed some chip shots that we normally make, and I think some of that can be attributed to fatigue. They (McClellan) were a handful.

en The semiconductor sector in general is in very good shape; the industry hasn't invested enough in capacity and that is actually very good for chip makers. Intel is often treated as a proxy for the chip sector, so the chip sector is doing well and so is Intel.
