Everyone is getting excited about her. It's probably because she's so young, and so poised for her age. The other exciting thing is that we have yet to see the best of her. It's scary to think that she will only be 22 at the Beijing Olympics, an age when many athletes are just starting their careers. And so everything she does before then is just gravy.

The Beijing Olympics will be a good opportunity for the athletes of Asia to show their abilities, ... I don't believe that Asian athletes are inferior to athletes from North America and Europe in the track sprint events. I'm a good example. It's important to wipe away existing stereotypes. I hope Japanese athletes will also make their best efforts.

We have two outstanding coaches who will lead our team to success in an exciting and challenging competition. This meet will be a significant test for our team. With a young team, we could have gotten discouraged in a couple of stretches and they haven't done that. They've stayed strong and I'm excited about what that means for this team.

The plan is to raise one-third of the £750m before the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and two-thirds afterwards. Yes, the Olympics are important. But players are in the middle of important careers. This is where they make their livelihood, and as much as we're happy to go to the Olympics, for us, the Stanley Cup's the most important thing.

His affair has exposed the weakness in the national team's mental education. We have taken some steps to make the young players more aware of their national duties and try to make the affair a good thing on the preparation of Beijing Olympics.

It's exciting going to an Olympics. It's going to be a good thing I am there. The Olympics is going to be my best experience.
