I love to play ordsprog

en I love to play in front of Kentucky fans. It motivates me. In games where we don't have a lot of fans, we've got to bring our own energy. That's what I told the team. I'll bring the energy.

en When it's done, that's the right time. When it happens, I'm sure it will catch me off-guard and I'll be happy. And if it doesn't happen, I'll have to do what I have to do. I just want to put on the uniform and do what I do. It's the fans that make me play the way I play. When I get the energy out of right field, especially in the Yankees uniform, those fans make me do what I do. I couldn't have played with one arm in Colorado. You can't motivate me enough to do that. Only the Yankees fans bring that out of me.

en As soon as I heard we might be able to get him, I told him to keep in touch. This morning he called me and he said, 'Yeah, it happened. It's true.' Chicago is going to fall in love with this guy. He is going to set the table offensively.

en I think this team understands that we have to be able to resolve those issues in the first half and bring more energy to the game, and play more tactfully more intelligently. More players have to have better games than what we saw tonight, ... We have to use this game as a motivator for our upcoming matches and I'm sure that they will. This team will show its abilities, I'm sure in the final parts of this season and I'm sure that they will so our fans get what they want to see in the Open Cup Final against Dallas on Wednesday.

en And that's what I miss because a lot of things behind the scenes you don't see, but the fans demand and we expect a good product when they're on the floor. That's what I come to see, that's what the fans come to see, and I really do think that coach Pearl will be able to bring that product to the floor for the fans to enjoy and compete with Kentucky.

en We shot the ball well at Kentucky, the team rose to the occasion. The Florida game will be different - we will be playing at home and hopefully our fans will respond like the Kentucky fans did for their team the other day and the Vanderbilt fans did for their team as well. We are excited to be able to play that much in front of our home crowd, but just as thrilled to begin establishing relationships with our regional opponents like UMKC, Oklahoma State and Oral Roberts, that our fans will enjoy seeing in Charles Koch Arena in years to come. Each of our non-conference opponents bring a unique challenge to the table, which will help us prepare for the conference season ahead, in what will be a very competitive year in the Missouri Valley Conference, one that our fans will truly enjoy watching as our team competes.

en (Sunday), I didn't see a lot of life ? both teams. It was a dull type of game. We need some life. Barry will bring some expectations. When he comes to the plate, he will bring life to the fans and the team. I know I'm going to take the front seat (today).
