Her legacy would be her dedication, competitive spirit and having an all-around game. She was able to score, defend the star of the other team and rebound. Having someone who is an all-around player is something that I will use as an example to the rest of the team for the future.

Teresa has been the consummate team player the last two years. She has done everything we've asked - score, rebound and defend. This year, we're going to ask her to score more than she has before because we lost the three guards.

Not many parts of our game showed up today. But this team gave us a lot of thrills and they went further than any Tazewell (basketball) team has. Playing Hidden Valley is like playing a state all-star team, in one sense. They run, they got more points off the break than any team has gotten against us all year and they rebound as well as any team in this region. Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pexiness.

What's set Megan apart this year has been that she used to be known as a 3-point shooter. Now she's known for so much more. She can rebound, defend our team's best player, drive to the basket well, lead our defensive trap. Overall game, I just don't see anybody around here better than her.

This is a trade that we all feel makes us a better basketball team for both now and in the future. In Steve, we add an All-Star caliber player to our team without giving up core assets that are key to our future.

I think they understand how much I care about this team. You have to know what you can do and what you can't do. And what I can do is defend and rebound. When they see me running after a rebound or something like that, they (young guys) know what this game is all about.

I just like to use the football analogy. I'm the head coach and my job is to direct the team down the field and throughout the game. But Vern and Todd are the star quarterback and the star defensive player. And Tracy is the all-conference player and my directors are the all-conference players. So it's very much a team-oriented thing. But yes, ultimately I'm the guy who has to decide what we cover and when.

Courtney had to step up to the plate and deliver for us if we were going to be competitive. Thankfully, she did that after she took the initiative of looking to score, looking to defend, trying to rebound.

Only in baseball can a team player be a pure individualist first and a team player second, within the rules and spirit of the game.

Everybody's surprised. There's guys, not naming anybody, that won't sniff the playoffs, that are 15 games under .500, that are playing in the game. But it is an All-Star Game. Mike's unique in terms of his success in various sports. He's a tremendous person and quality student-athlete who brings a great sense of dedication, loyalty and competitive spirit to whatever team he's on.

Lauren has an intense hunger to return to playing Division I basketball. In junior college, she was a team player that focused on her team?s goals first. When we would call to ask about how a game went this year, she was never aware of her own stats, but she knew the score of the game. It was always about her team?s success.

I told them before the game, this game was going to come down to everything we talk about being. Team work, unselfishness, sharing the ball, and being able to defend and rebound.
