Gibson is one of those players that had a chance to go to one of the major conferences so he is a very good get for us. I think that he is a very solid individual. He is a good student and he is what I love in that he is a gym rat.

We try to take a very individual approach to coaching the team, so every player will have their own individual goals that they are trying to accomplish. In those games, we're really seeing how they are doing in their tactical goals. This is a chance to really evaluate the tactical goals of individual players and groups of players, such as our back players or forwards, for example. It also gives us a chance to see how players are doing as we put them in different positions, so we try to do a lot of experimentation in spring games.

The running back situation is a good, competitive one. I think Antowain and Kevin are good players, have good, solid strengths. I think both of those players are going to be productive for us. Ashley and Maggie (Gibson) get a lot of the ink and the publicity, but there are other people that have performed well in the playoffs and all season for us. You're not going to win in the tournament with two or three good players. You need to have more players and you need to have a bench if you want to advance.

(Trumbo) played a good solid game defensively and got some key rebounds. He's one of the better players that I saw play in this tournament, and there were some awfully good players playing.

We need to look at some players that we don't want to let get out of here for lack of a good solid look, ... We need to get some key players -- Jamal, Peter and Todd -- that first good initial hit. That is a huge priority. We have got to see if we can have a certain continuity about us.
