This is her best year as far as taking control as our point guard. I have more confidence in her this year.

At the beginning of the year, we didn't have a lot of confidence at point guard. You need a point guard with some swagger and he's brought that confidence to us.

I really gained what I needed with Delaney and that was a point guard, a leader on the floor. She was used to doing that as an eighth-grader, and I think it helped, not that we couldn't have used Chelsea Sager, but she was ready. Chelsea was ready to go up. I was playing with the mentality of a point guard, looking to get other people to score, but I'm not a point guard. When I get the ball, it's coming to me to score. I just wasn't being aggressive. I lost confidence so I didn't think I could make shots. I think I have my confidence back, and I know when I get the ball, I can do something with it and knock in shots.

That's been developing a whole lot. From last year to this year, I'm just more confident in my shot. I'm taking a lot of shots that I wouldn't have last year because I wasn't confident. It's all from (getting) confidence in practice.

They pretty much control how we play and they control our running game. They are two of the quickest guards that I've seen. Ashley tends to run the point, but neither guard is really designated as the point.

I definitely want to be able to contribute next year. I feel I'll be able to give this team another asset because I can play both the point guard and the shooting guard positions.

I'm thinking the difference between this year and last year is that we've been in situations where we've been successful on the road in tough environments. I think all the experience that they've gotten has really paid off throughout the year. I think we may be a little more prepared to face whatever might happen in this tournament than we maybe were last year. It might be a little bit of a confidence thing. They probably do, right now, have a lot of confidence. If they don't by now, they never will.

I really became comfortable with (Wright) as our point guard this year. I think he did a much better job this year of really running our team, getting people involved and understanding the tempo ? and he shot the ball better.
