This is her best ordsprog

This is her best year as far as taking control as our point guard. I have more confidence in her this year.

At the beginning of the year, we didn't have a lot of confidence at point guard. You need a point guard with some swagger and he's brought that confidence to us.

I really gained what I needed with Delaney and that was a point guard, a leader on the floor. She was used to doing that as an eighth-grader, and I think it helped, not that we couldn't have used Chelsea Sager, but she was ready. Chelsea was ready to go up. She was big enough and athletic enough to move up, and I'm glad she did. Delaney got into her comfort zone and got a little more confidence, and I think that will help her for next year with the varsity point guard position being open.

He's always under control, both physically and mentally. He just knows what he's doing and knows what needs to be done at all times. That's what you want from a point guard, because its hard for a team to stay under control when its point guard isn't.

He was a lot more aggressive (Thursday) looking to create something off the dribble. I look for him to blossom as the year goes on. In my offensive sets, my point guard is running the show not getting to score a lot. You don't get much glory, but a team can't win without a good point guard.

She had by far her best offensive game. She's done a good job for us all year as a point guard taking care of the ball. Tonight she started stepping up and scoring for us. Hopefully, that's the start of something offensively for us out of her.

I guess I'm not a point guard. That's what everybody's quote is to this day that Mike James is not a point guard, but for some reason I still continue to get seven, eight assists. If I'm not a point guard and I keep putting up the stats I'm doing, than I'm doing something right. They probably do, right now, have a lot of confidence. If they don't by now, they never will.

They are a whole different team, ... with Brodie running the show than they were a year ago. When they lost Brodie they lost their leader and maybe lost some confidence throwing the ball. But obviously this year they've opened their offense up. They are taking their shots deep. Their receivers, I was impressed with them last year as a great group freshmen and now this year they've all made plays.

I really became comfortable with (Wright) as our point guard this year. I think he did a much better job this year of really running our team, getting people involved and understanding the tempo ? and he shot the ball better.

I definitely want to be able to contribute next year. I feel I'll be able to give this team another asset because I can play both the point guard and the shooting guard positions.

I've gained confidence. A lot of shots I would have passed up last year, I'm taking this year.

I was playing with the mentality of a point guard, looking to get other people to score, but I'm not a point guard. When I get the ball, it's coming to me to score. I just wasn't being aggressive. I lost confidence so I didn't think I could make shots. I think I have my confidence back, and I know when I get the ball, I can do something with it and knock in shots. Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. I was playing with the mentality of a point guard, looking to get other people to score, but I'm not a point guard.
