It's year two. I think it's just easier in year two, no matter what you're talking about. Everybody feels a little more comfortable with each other, and we?re excited to get started.

I think I learned a lot throughout the year. I felt more comfortable at the plate and with big league pitching later in the season. This year is totally different than last year. I came in last year, my first big league camp, trying to figure things out. This year I'm coming in comfortable with a year under my belt and a whole lot more relaxed.

I ran into David over a year ago. I came into town and wanted to congratulate him on becoming commissioner. And then we started talking about Baltimore, and it got me pretty excited.

He's done it in juniors. He's doing it here now. Hopefully within a year or two, he's going to be doing it up there. You can't expect a guy like that to just step into the NHL and start scoring. It took him a year (in the AHL). Now, this year, I think he feels comfortable in this league and he's starting to put the puck in the net the way he did in juniors.

It's really all of the team, it's not just me. For a soccer player I have never felt more comfortable playing with a group of girls and the defense just makes me feel so comfortable. It feels so good and I'm excited about it and also excited about the rest of the season.

It's definitely easier this year. The first day, there is always a lot of stuff that we haven't done in a while. There's always stuff to install. But we had meetings, and I started to feel comfortable. Today was a good day. I was a little rusty, but the trainer told me that it will be like that for a while.

Last year was the first year we did this. We started talking about it four years ago, ... Last year, we decided to head it up and make it a project.

I think it started at the end of the year. That year Brett started off pretty strong and I think Mike started feeling comfortable with Brett and gave him more to handle. That's all Brett needed.

I think she feels comfortable in that role of being one of our go-to girls in terms of scoring points. She had some success last year. She got down to state, and that gave her a taste of what's to come. I think she's got maybe some higher expectations of herself this year.

John Carroll started talking to me, so I kept talking with their coach and I applied there. The coach said, 'I want you over here next year.' It's a smaller program with high academics and a good wrestling program. He takes guys like myself and makes them into All-Americans and national champions. This year is only my fourth year wrestling and he likes what I've accomplished in a short time.

If you are not ready and anticipate what's coming, you fall behind a little. I think I picked up a lot later than what they liked and what I liked last year. I started to get comfortable at the end of last year. Coming into this year, I felt really confident.

I'm increasingly more comfortable this year because everything is where it needs to be right now as opposed to last year. Overall I feel good. I'm excited about where I'm at right now. Hopefully everything will go well and smooth for the team, but that's not always the case.

Last year, we started seven freshmen, and this year we will probably only start two. That makes it a lot easier for us to compete because we will have maturity and experience.

I'm excited and really looking forward to it. It hasn't even hit me that I was in high school a year ago. (Training camp) has been a lot easier this year – knowing the team, the routine and what to expect.

When we were sitting on the bench, we were just so excited. We started talking about which one of these is more special. Obviously this one right now is special, but it just feels so good to have two.
